Leadership and playing ability combine to provide a captain of an athletic team. With this in mind the baseball team named Jett Schneieder and Dale Stark --iunior and senior respectively--as co-captains. Choosing the Most Valuable Player is difficult, con- sidering the variety of talent on this year's team. But Jett Schnieder, Broncho co-captain, managed to garner the honors with superb hustle and a man-sized measure of playing skill. John Dye, whose efforts in athletic competition are common knowledge in and out of the locker room, earned the distinction ot Most Inspirational Player. His determination and dedication were important in this selection. The Most lmproved Player, by vote ot the team, was Arnold Payne, whose pre-season games suggest his importance in the total Parkrose performance.
