Parkland's members attended the District Meeting and competitive events at West Forsyth High School and the National Convention at the Hyatt House. Competitive events included accuracy and speed in the skills of shorthand and typing. The club's fund-raising activity was selling candy. Members decorated the faculty lounge at Thanksgiving and gave a Christmas party at the Children's Home. l. Advisor Mrs. Claudia Skinner offers advice for members. 2.
