Dawn Poole Singing Christmas carols, cooking a Spanish breakfast, and being involved with Foreign Language Week activities were some of the activities of the foreign language classes. Students had a choice of French I, II, III, and IV, German I, II, Latin I and II, and Spanish I, II, III, IV, and V. Leslie Chesson Guest speakers and field trips to journal and Sentinel, Drama festivals, Drama workshop, and Hanes Mall highlighted the English classes. Special interest was created by the units in Values, Death, and a new unit of Heroes. The English Department received four new text books.
