lthough handicapped by inexperience and lack of support, the wrestling team improved and the future of wrestling at Parkland looked good according to Coach Don Puckett. One of the most valuable wrestlers was Danny Boles whose attitude and performance added a great deal to team morale. Two juniors who have most improved were Roy Knox and David Bodenheimer. Again the State Wrestling Tournament was held at Parkland in February. Coached by Bill Bailey, a student at Winston Salem State, the team played some of the stronger teams in the city and conference. Reynolds gave them the keenest competition.
