'F . The National Catholic Theatre Conference was opened with a very humorous but interesting speech by the congenial Mayor of Kansas City. Seated behind the Mayor are several members of the conference committees, who were introduced to us and described to us the functions and the purpose of the Theatre Conference. Although oui trip to the Theatre Conference was strictly business, we also took time for a little fun. Here sitting on our little auto are the four Thespians that took part in the conference in behalf of our Alma Mater, Mark B r o s s man , Robert Slater, Erma Mae Fleming, and last but not least Nancy Hile, Tourists? Nancy Hile is pointing out one of the many distinctive fea- tures of Kansas City's beautiful Municipal Auditorium in which the Theatre Conference was held, Bob Slater seems to be quite engrossed bythe size and the beauty of the enormous building before them.
