GIRL STATERS gl 59- 594 4 Susan Daniels and Tammy McCurry were chosen to attend Girls State from June 7-12 on the campus of Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia. They will spend a week learning about the various departments of the state government in Arkansas. The girls were chosen on the basis of character and leadership. Both girls have been very active in school activities for the past three years. Susan has been a member of the Beta Club for three years, and served as vice-president this past year. She has also been an active member of the Future Homemakers of America club for three years and held the office of vice-president two of those years. Susan has been on the yearbook staff two years and performed in the yearbook program each year as an accomplished pianist and singer. Tammy has also been involved in many school activities. She has been on the yearbook staff for three years, and served as assistant business manager and business manager. She has been a member of the Beta Club for three years. As an active member of the FHA, Tammy has held the office of president for the past three years.
