With aid from the class advisors the Sophomores planned an initiating party for the freshmen, which was enjoyed by all. The Sophomores had a float in the homecoming parade and elected Anne Marie Roberts as homecoming attendant. Later they sponsored a Maiden's Choice Ball which proved to be a great success. FRFSHMEN l The Freshman class of 1954 started out this year by electing the following officers: president, Kenneth I-Iansong vice-president, Harold Collinsg secretary, Con- nie Taylorg treasurer, Pat Harris. As in the past the Sophomores had the pleasure of initiating the Freshmen. A program was held at the armory, which everyone enjoyed, including the Freshmen. For Homecoming the ninth graders had a float resembling a cheering section. They also worked hard to have a huge bonfire which was enjoyed by all.
