SENIUR PRUPHECY Today there rs a hmt of excrtement rn the arr It rs the day of the greatest horse race and show ever to be As we start for the show we are surprrsed to find that one of the mam events of the day wrll be a steeple chase starrmg the dns trngurshed rrder Ned Greer He wrll be rrdmg hrs famous horse Boots who lust won the London Steeple Chase Hurrymg toward the stable we find the stable boys Iohn Skeffmgton and LeMont Thelen cleanmg and polrshrng the horse strrrups Over rn a room beyond the stable we find some of the yockeys talkmg over the rmpendrng race They are Gary Woodward Duane Wrlson and Francrs Craig They are rrdmg horses owned by Margaret Valentine ackre ackson and oyce Knapp As we walk along we meet the co presr dents of the race track Russell and Richard Hand who tell us the race wrll begun rn a few mrnutes As we hurry to the stands we are surrounded by three eager bookres who want to grxe us a hot trp on the race They seem famrlrar and we soon recognrze them as Don Mrchels Trm Larsen and Who rs this lrttle group of ladies h t the local W C T U come to scowl at the bettors Theres some of the old gang Bonme Pratt Caro lyn Simmons Dora Nunn ean Hoefs and Martha Makmen Who are they scowlrng at?
