 Dedication This years Torch staff would like to dedicate their yearbook to Mr. Edward Busby. Mr. Busby has been at Lincoln for five years. He has taught history. Marriage and Family Living and Pho- tography. He has been yearbook advi- sor and has done a majority of the photography work for the torch in the past. This years staff, and staffs of the past, would like to thank Mr. Busby for all the trials and tribulations he has put up with in order to make the yearbooks of the last five years a success. Without the help and guidance of Mr. Edward Busby, there would be no yearbook. 2

The Roads And now the snow is falling and I am coming to a crossroads in my life. The roads of strength and weakness divide before me. They go deep into these woods. Which one shall 1 wander on? Which one shall I take? It is not an easy question. These snowflakes hide the smoothness of their stones. These trees they hide the passage of their trails. These two roads twist and turn — I can not see their ends. Which one shall I take? I have wandered down the middle for so many, many years. Small decisions I have made, but never this great need to choose. Oh, which road shall I wander on? — Ellis Felker Celebrate the sunset and the sunrise the cold and the warm the sounds and the silences the voices of the children. Celebrate the dreams and hopes Which have filled the souls of All decent men and women. We shall lift our glasses and toast with tears of joy. — Leonard Nimoy
