ABEL WILLIAM J. ANDRASKA RICHARD I). BEHREANDT A milestone has been reached — a goal achieved. We, the Seniors, now don caps and gowns to receive our diplomas. However, this is but the threshold of a new life we are about to enter. We put aside the tools of our high school years, as we pick up the reins of the new work ahead. These are the treasured memories of four impressive years: now let us go forward into an ever more challenging future. JOHN J. BOSSE 8 BARBARA H. CERVENKA - 4 MATTHEW J. BRUCH TERESA L. It was held on May 7th, and was the most beautiful prom ever held at Lincoln High School. King Dan Palacheck and Queen Pat Gelina reigned majestically over the event. The court of royalty was made up of Seniors, Perry Reas and Diane Lemke; Juniors, Matt Bruch and Lora Pritzl; Sophomores, Jerry Steiner and Claire Gustafson; Freshmen, Larry Roberts and Ruth Koshak. They danced under the golden chan- deliers to the enchanting music of Ernie Carroll. The beautiful side scenes and the fountain with the many colored rocks and flowers added much to the French atmosphere. It was an evening to be remembered by all. 74 75 1965 Homecoming The entire student body of Lincoln High School chose Donna Steinmetz as their queen to reign over the 1965 Homecoming activities. The memorable events got under way on Thursday night with the annual pep rally, which was climaxed by a huge bonfire held at the athletic field. The parade on Friday, October 1, 1965, was the biggest ever. There were many beautifully constructed floats made by the different classes and clubs. The sophomore class float took first place. Although the game was lost to Medford, the spirits brightened as everyone danced to the enchanting music of Ernie Carroll. Queen Donna Steinmetz was escorted by King Tom Niebauer. They were attended by Seniors. Linda Setterman and Bill Andraska: Juniors, Virginia Gelina and Jon Heisler; Sophomores, Joanne Prettie and Tom Detko; and Freshmen, Janet Peterson and Tom Pepper. 76 77 Sadie Hawkins Queen Sharon King Jack Best Costume: Lora Pritzl, Matt Bruch 79 Lettermen Club Top Row: J.
