CLASS FLOWER Red and White Carnation CLASS COLORS Red and White ----------------CLASS SONG ------------- “OVER THE RAINBOW” When all the world is a hopeless jumble And we know not the path to choose, Heaven opens a magic lane. When all the clouds darken up the skyway, There’s a happy highway to be found, Leading from our glory now. To a world that seems so dark, Trying hard to make it shine. Somewhere out in this new world We’ll find friends, There’s a place for each of us To serve with loyalty. Somewhere over the rainbow skies are blue, And the dreams that you dare to dream Really do come true. Someday we’ll wish upon a star And ask dear God to lead and guide us far. When we attempt and then we fail, And then we try again ’til we succeed We’ll rejoice. Somewhere over the rainbow our goals wait, For each step that we take now Nears us to it each day. If others try and do succeed In this new world oh why, oh why can’t we? CLASS MOTTO Onward and Upward

On June 17, 1993,1, Judy Glacser, private secretary to James Kolonko, president of the Electro-Nuclear Computers, Inc., Los Angeles branch, am boarding a nuclear-powered plane along with my employer to confer with Major Kenneth R. Boness, who will test a Transcontinental Space Craft de- signed by Toby Kilger, a former classmate. While waiting for the plane to take off, we recognized our stewardess to be Dorothy Jamieson. As we talked over old times, Dorothy told us that classmate Bonnie Holt had just been named Fashion Co-ordinator of the year. After landing at New York’s Idlewild Airport, we went to the delicates- sen and found the hostess to be Ellen Kadrlik. She asked if we had heard that Fred Hirtreiter and Robert Hein are the chief mechanics at Idlewild. We hadn’t, but were glad to hear it. On the way to the hotel, we rode in the newly developed transport which, to our surprise, was driven by Darrel Wages. He told us he was surprised to see us as he had just driven an- other classmate, Chuck Jaglinski, to the New York Biological Center where he is now employed as a research biologist. We pulled up in front of the Hotel Sky Beam, entered the lobby, and found Glen Scherwinski behind the desk. We were glad to see him and asked how he secured his position. He told us he was working for Harold Fasig, manager 01 the Hotel Sky Beam. I went to the nearest phone to make an appointment with Major Bo- ness. As I asked the operator for the number, her voice caught my atten- tion, and I recognized it to be Janet Schultz’s. I asked her how Judy Rose was, and she said Judy was working in the same Communications Bureau office. I reached Kenneth quickly and he set the appointment for 10:30 the next morning. I went to my suite, tidied up after the long day, and picked up the evening paper. To my surprise I read, “A cure for all forms of can- cer has been discovered by Jeanne Wartgow.” I then turned to the Women’s Section of the paper and read a column which was written by Lois Liesenfelder, a leading fashion columnist of the New York Times, edited by Donna Lavin. Lois stated in her column that Nancy Schloer will be modeling the new Paris fashions in New York on June 24. I then retired for the night, woke early the next morning, and left with my employer to confer with Kenneth. As we entered the Military In- telligence Center, we were amazed to see Charlotte Tesch as the recep- tionist. She told us we could see Kenneth immediately; therefore, we pro- ceeded to his office. We discussed business with Kenneth, and he told us Helen Fischer was largely responsible for the mathematical computations on the project.
