Q. FOOTBALL Season Extended School schedules were changed as the band-blazettes, cheerleaders, and football play- ers continued the vigorous prac- tice that went into their fine per- formances. Fatigue brought on by an extended football season was buried under the enormous spirit held for the Fighting Wild- cats bythe Paris community. Driven on by the winning sea- son, townspeople caught Wildcat Fever and it did spread. Varsity Cheerleaders present a stunt for the Silver Crush. Pep Fiallies 21

3 Nominees Vie for Title Hectic, exciting, and fun describe Homecoming Week. Clubs and organizations designed and built floats tor the parade. Cars, trucks, and other vehicles were transformed into Wildcats or club-related scenes. On parade afternoon, decorated cars lined up in the parking lot to make their trek to downtown Paris. Citizens and fans lined the streets in support of the Cats. Homecoming queen nominees - Penny Price, Michelle Wade. and Clyde'ette Wright - spent the week with feelings of anxiety and excitement. These nominees were presented to the student body and alumni at the annual Homecoming rally as the band played Fascination Clyde'ette anticipates the next words of announcement. 22 Homecoming
