In addition to the required two years of American History and one year of World Studies, courses in philosophy, psychology, sociology, and political science are available to students who are interested. Striving to help students understand all aspects of his¬ tory, the Social Studies department teaches the student body about the ancient and modern periods of civilization. Our Media Center has provided the students with information covering topics from the history of the United States of America to the most recent scientific developments. Mrs. Elizabeth Levy, with the help of four dedicated staff members, has enabled the students to find informa¬ tion on any subjects they need to or want to research.
