FACULTY Mr. J. W. Little is our commercial teacher and also the Senior sponsor. He teaches Typing I and II, Shorthand, and is basketball coach for both the girls and boys. He has led our Puggs and Puggetts to many victories and is also good cornmercialteacher. Mr. Little taught at Wayne last year. Miss Goldie Stults came to Paoli from Hughes to teach English. She has four English Classes, Speech class, and keeps study hall one hour. We think she is doing a good job as sponsor of the junior Class. Mr. Elmo Ray is also a teacher that we can put in a good word for, He teaches Agriculture, Science, U. S. History, Okla. History, and Civics. He is coach of the junior High girls basketball team. Mr. Ray taught school last year at Cotton Wood. He is sponsor of the Freshman class. Mrs. Clifford Mauldin is the capable teacher of the 7th and 8th grades. During the two years has been teaching here, many students have graduated out of her Sth grade class who excelled in their work. Before teaching here, Mrs, Mauldin taught at Florence Chapel. This is the first year for the pretty 6th grade instructor, Mrs. Maxine Dotson, to teach school. Everyone realizes that the first year is usually the hardest, but Mrs. Dotson has overcome this difficulty to the satisfaction of her employer and the students parents. Mrs. Campbell teaches the industrious fourth and fifth grades. She, with Mr. Campbell, taught at Pernell for 14 years. She has shown splendid coopera- tion with everyone and is regarded highly in the community. The second and third grade teacher is Mrs. .Iames Caldwell. She is very capable and is liked by her students. Mrs. Little is teacher of the primary and first grade. She is giving these students a good start on their education, which is very important. She taught the 4th grade at Wayne last year.
