Upon the editors and the Advisor fell the heavy burden of making sure all deadlines were met and all business completed. The Student Council consisting of eleven represent- atives from the upper six grades along with its advisor, Mr. McKinney, meets every two weeks to act on any business brought before the group. The Student Council was organized in our school in 1941. The purposes of the organization are: The solving of pertiment school problems, and helping students to become better citizens. This year the Student Council assumed the respons- ibility of planning the school chapel programs, the granting of concessions for games, and the solving of timely problems. The group publishes an issue of the Spyglass each month. The objective of the Spyglass is to create a greater interest in school life.
