Newcomers Welcomed t Gala Howdy Party The proud junior welcomed the sopho- mores and other newcomers to 'Lhisn own P.H.S. at the Howdy Party. Kathy Larsen won a silver dollar as a result of her friendliness in saying HHowdy,' to the right person-one of those carrying the silver dollars. Lamoyne Clark was among the four twirlers who performed at the party. Dressed in western clothes, each junior brought out the true western spirit of Howdy Day. Such dance crazes as the Twist, the Hulley Gulley and the Mashed Potato left him dripping and exhausted when the festivities ended. Sue Ann Thompson tosses pennies at the Junior Class Carnival booth, while Jimmy Flynt, Don Rexroad and Myron Aftergut await their turn to try for the white elephant prizes.
