THE WOOD CRAFT CLUB was organized to ac quaint the members with the projects that can be handled under a skilled organization, to band together in bette r understanding the boys interested in Woodworking, and to assist the school and other clubs in projects that call for their services. I- 'iii A The main purpose of the club is to introduce its mem- 4 bers to the problems of industry, to teach them how to get ' started on the job, how to develop t h e necessary skill to be successful workers in industry, and how to be cooperative 1 Mr. Myles O. The club strives to make students into men of responsibilities who can run the nation's industries. 1 The officers of VIC display some of the club and class work. The Society, under the direction of Miss Thelma Henslee, is non-social, non secret, the students merit their right to join by doing outstanding work in dramatics. Eight new members w e r e taken in for their work in junior play. They are Diane Crawford, Dick Greene, Bob Allford, Bill Duncan, Harold Comer, Delores Miller, Gloria Baker, and Mariola Duvall. The RADIO SPEECH CLASS, s e c ond semester, had thirty members who p r e s e nt e d two radio programs each week under the auspices of radio station KPDN, entitled Campus Capers and 'The Thresher. The RADIO SPEECH CLASS, first semester, fpictures belowj had eleven members.
