James Gallemore s e rved this year a s the vice-president of the West Texas DistrictHi-Y Conference. Carl Kennedy is the 1951president for that group. Carl Kennedy and Karl Stephenson were the 1949 delegates to the Youth and G o ve r nm e nt Conference in Austin. During the year the Hi-Y operatedaconces- sion stand at the football games and helped with the activities of Howdy Week and other special school occasions.
