Mr. Frank W. Wilson, Principal
Mr. Wilson, who is responsible for the smooth operation of PHS, takes time
to outline the school activities for a Little Harvester reporter. Mr. Begert works
constantly keeping our daily attendance records complete and accurate. Mrs. Rob-
erts keeps the records and correspondence of the school in order and advises stu-
dents about schedules. Mrs. Roberts has a full-time job, yet she always finds time
to help students. Mrs. Capps advises students about subjects to take to prepare
for college and helps in the selection of a college or vocation. Mrs. Capps also is
the sponsor of the Student Council.

ALL-DISTRICT FOOTBALL
The 1949 Harvesters tur ne d out one of the most surprising teams

they not only rose to the top to win the district championship, but they
won e i ght of their eleven games, and in a memorable game they WOI1 3
decisive victory over Amarillo. Despite their lack of weight and ex-

what it takes.

Head of Department Instructor
Pat Woodfill was chosen by popular vote to represent the Girls' Sports Club as
the best ALL.-AROUND ATHLETIC GIRL for the year 1949-1950. Though this is
Pat's first year on the volleyball team, she made the first string. She has entered
tumbling and tapping this year. With this enthusiasm, Pat, now a freshman, should
continue to be a real asset to the physical education department.
GOLF
joyce Harrah tries to im-
prove her golf. Her helpers
are Shorty McLaughlin,Car-
melita Dunaw ay, and Clara
Darling.
The Girls'Sports Club was organized for the
first time during the school year of 1949-50.
The club sponsors the various activities pictur-
ed on the following pages, and each member may
participate in as many of them as she desires.
A system of points and awards helps to main-
tain the interest of the girls, as does the pur-
pose of the organization, which is to uphold the
high ideals of the school and the club and to
promote good sportsmanshiptothe highest level.
