COACH HAY EYES LEFT STARS---'43 The selections that follow were not made by coaches who saw our high school play one game or by newspapermen who merely wrote about our team. but by the boys who have fought and played together every night of football and ought to know who the 'lierrors were that really had the extra punch. Don Romig was not only chosen Honorary Captain of 1943 but was also voted as the best blocker and the best punter. Bob Moore. lettering in his hrst year at balfback, won two distinctions, being voted the most improved player and the best open field runner. Don Irelan. lettering after two years of B squad play. was chosen as the best tacklerg Hob Chambers, the only three-year letterman on the squad was selected as the hardest charging back. Keith jordan, always a potential punt-blocker, was deemed the most alert player, and Bob lnzer was adjudged the best passer. 'l'o complete the list. Rolly Rogers, a sophomore, ising underclassmen. Y THE TERRUR ,Xt the close of each Terror football season the members of the team convene to bestow upon a selected few certain honorary titles which they feel these men have merited by the everlasting efforts which they have put forth anrl by the ability which they have shown on Terror griflirons. The high school was honored however, when two veterans of CSHS football play were given honorable mention in the all-state selec- tions.
