U Keilh BIjck o wilh anolhrr incrp Led by Coach Bill Armstrong, the Indians reached the CIF playoffs for the first lime since 1976. They finished with a 14-8 record 9-6 in the SBL, lied for second with Hemet. La Keith Black led the team in scoring, aver- aging 16.2 points in league. Boris King fol- lowed closely behind as both made 1st team All-League. Center Tee Williamson for- ward Robbie Craig formed an excellent re- bouding duo. Andy Martin was put at a guard spot midway through the year and added ex- cellent defense. Clay Hall was first man off the bench contributed good overall play. Together they formed an exciting ballclub which could beat any learn. This was proven as the Indians upset =3 ranked Moreno Val- ley twice, the only league losses for them. King Black ' s consistent play helped PS win 5 of their last 6 games including the final game, a 68-52 rout over Moreno, in which Boris rammed down two slam dunks. Their 1st round game was away against West Co- vina. Tee Williamson ' s dominating play in the 1st half kepi PS close but when he fouled out in the 3rd quarter. West Covina slowly pulled away. The final score was 69-53. Al- though they lost, it was a very successful year and with only three seniors on the team, next year looks even better. Good Luck Boys!!
