Connie Curtis is now the leading hair barber in Plateau Valley. Delmar Shiflet has become a great lawyer in New York. He won his fame by prosecuting Dirty Dog Daisy back in 1966. The dogs owned by Carol Thompson have been taking all the high honors in the world. Her famous St. Ber- nard recently took first place in the lap-dog section. Only Carol could do it! Glen Plumleigh is a senator in Congress. The other senators find it hard not to call him page. Carole Stout has become head kitchen designer for Lane and Company. Tom Strong is the president of the Ideal Ice Man's Association, while Don Nostrand is the manufacturer of electric ice boxes. Trying to put Tom out of business, Don? Dorothy Moorehead is the pep teacher at Mars School for Girls, Deane Chenoweth is Master of Ceremonies on Ed Sullivan's Television program. -Judy Cole is writing school books. How she likes to make the children suffer! Jack Brumlow is an artist and has sold one of his most famous pictures to Larrie Jean Masinton, the great designer. Tom Green decided to make politics his field. He is running for dog catcher of Grand Junction. He also has a small enterprise for his spare time--he is president of General Mills Corporation. Carol Hollett has been taking lessons from the natives of the Congo on how to do under water basket weaving. Jim Somerville is now giving Elvis Presley a run for his money. Keep up the good work, Jim. Gary Brooks finally decided to quit snapping axles on his car and is now manufacturing them at his plant in Detroit, CLASS HISTORY The mighty class of '59 planted their peach tree in September of 1948. Among the first tender shoots that appeared were Hazel Ames, Peggy Hoisington, Kay Decker, Loyanne Ward, Dorothy Kimminau, Tom Green, Dennis Darnall, Glen Plumleigh, Gary Rush, Warner Brooks, Wayne Flick, and Sharon Robinson. In the second year of growth one of these small branches, Warner Brooks, was broken off. The third year of growth our tree added a great many small branches, Among them were Deane Chenoweth, Connie Curtis, Carol I-lollet, Karen Derrick, Rita Hartgraves, Jean Pinckard, Larrie Masinton, Dorothy Moorehead, Arnold DuBose, Gary Brooks, and we were happy that Warner Brooks was grafted back on. Then when we were four years old, our tree put forth only one branch: Jim Somerville. The fifth year it grew quite a bit and added Lynda Kissell and Gerald Huskey. In our sixth year it put forth Carole Stout and Melvin Diffendaffer, During the seventh year we only grew in size. Our tree did not put out any new branches at all. Then we were in our eighth year. That was a good year as our tree added four more branchesg Jim Branson, Judy Cole, Bruce Mutchler, and Carol Reed. But we were sorry Connie Curtis had to be broken off. By the time we were in our ninth year we were really growing, not only in number but in size. That year ii-gtthy Koch, Brenda Babbitt, and Don Nostrand became a part of our tree. By the tenth year it was a rather well-grown tree. Delmar Shiftlet, Andy Alexander, and Don Adair were added. Connie Curtis was welcomed back to our branch society. In our eleventh year our tree put forth two more branches that were called Evelyn Champlin and Carol Thompson Now in our twelfth and final year our mighty peach tree is a complete, well-proportioned tree with the addition . of Tom Strong and Jack Brumlow. Our great tree has been well cultured throughout these twelve years and is now a mature plant which is putting forth fruits of wisdom and integrity, ' 1--1 L, Ta M Wx.
