CLASS HISTORY As our rocket was launched in the year 1946, we saw these girls and boys aboard. Were Edna Lauck, Lila Peeples. Nell Colwell, Carol Lathrum, Donna Wild. Lucille Gri Edna: Ann Vernon. Among the boys were Jimmy Copeland, Cecil Reese, Bill Sisson. Bob Ba L weth, Bill Denison, Wink Sroaf, and Raymond Miller, Among the girls ffith, and Mary ncroft, Carl Cheno- .. Our first fuel station was Mercury. Molly Pool was instructed to check our instruments which took her six weeks and she made plans to board our ship in 1952. We picked up four other new passengers: :Belle Gearhart, Sharon Kimminau, Kenneth McGechie, and Don Lavern. The next stop was the planet Venus. Five scientists were added to our staff: Reba Potter, Ida Wright, Mike Martin, Thelma Bonner, and David Milles. . Mars was our next stop, and we decided to pick up six green men to take back to earth for study. tThey were Jack Maynes, Lowell Wilds. Janet Gilbertson, Sharon Kirkendall, Sharon Kempton, and Larry Kempton. Chuck The rocket spent the year 1950 exploring space, but in 1951 we took another fuel stop on Jupiter. Three girls joined us here: Betty Hanks, Lois Martin. and Celeste Brown. The dazzling rings around Saturn attracted our attention, and we landed. When we left. we took :40; Beverly Bosch, Louise Ferguson, Conrad Hooper, and Larry Fuller. Our rocket ship was taking us higher and higher, and in the year 1953 we landed on Uranus. Arthur Neiswender, Jeanette Beck, Linda Arend, Ginger Rogers, Kenneth Littlefield. and Mary Herrera boarded Eath our ship. We left one there on Uranus. a Neptune was the next stop on our chart, so we landed. Four of our crew liked Neptune. so they stayed ?there. but we picked up Jane Howard, Earl Chapin, and Marilyn Crenshaw. We were coming to the last planet Pluto, and we picked up five interesting specimens: Inez Keith. LEmeris Christian, Earl Madden, Roberta Friend, and Sally Leslie. Four of our staff liked this faraway place so they remained behind. On the return trip we had engine trouble and made a forced landing on the moon. Five moonmen wanted to go to earth, so we took Jim Sublett, Fern DuBose, Lila Walker, Tom Thomas. and Vivian Hoofard with us. But we lost six of our passengers on the moon. The rocket ship Senior Class of 1958 made a landing on the earth and is now planning a trip into ,. the future. To complete the crew of 40, Chuck Shear signed up. Who knows What lies ahead for them? She hasn't married a millionaire Yet, but they say she'ss; trEnniom Thomas is now owner of the Thomas and Thomas Beauty Salon. He's known for his famous hair dyeing, Er breaking two legs, Jeanette Beck has invented a wheel chair on skis. Not so far to.fa11 that way. w Fuller has turned into a heavyTrinker. He is head sampler at the Coca-Cola Bottling Company. . Lila Peeples hears the patter of about 40 little feet. She took over Miss Shepard's Job of teaching the first Working as a seamstress for Jane Mansfield is la-rLe Howard. She specializes in making clothes Epeople, Roberta Friend, the friend of all friends, is working as a social director on Mars. . , . Wink-mf, who is advertising Wheaties, is 6 feet 5 inches tall. , , apeting with Owen Aspinall as Town Lawyer is Raymond Miller. In his spare time he manages Young's G is. ,ir Inez Keith holds the title of Miss Dairy King, She is also adding another engagement ring to her collection of diamEIEs. . Beverly Bosch owns and runs a hash house that specializes in feeding mechanics. Poor Jack! Replacing Ma Kettle in the movies is-iE-Martin. She always did have great acting ability. Lila Walker is a hula dancer in Hawaii. She tells us that grass skirts aren't what they used to be. Sharon Kimminau has just added the tenth Corvette to her collection. She chose maroon and white for the cm this time. - i The habit of staying out late grew on Ji-mCoeeland and he replaced John Troxel as night watchman in Bill Denison- is rolling in money. He turned into a professional counterfeiter. i mohnsonville lives Edna Lauck who has a flock of little Johnsons. Celeste M is an artist for Es uire. She's also writing Advice to the Lovelorn under a pen name. Expm is the best teacher. I ,4 a .1 . i a l Linda Arend is an editor for the Moscow Daily Seminal. She always wanted to go abroad. f Don LaVem, wanting to continue his basketball career, manages the Harlem Redheads. He spends most of breaking up fights that the girls have over him. .Sharon Kemgton has joined the Foreign Legion in hopes of catching up with Vernon, but Uncle Sam always --4 him one jump ahead of her. Shape up or ship out is the favorite saying of Carl Chenoweth, who is a dress designer in Paris. Larry Kethon is the owner of the Midnight Auto Supply. He specializes in hub caps. The model for Stag Magazine is Janet Gilbertson. . During peach harvest she takes time off to manage the Lmi Camp in Palisade. ' I Earl Madden is teaching his children how to ditch school and get away with it. He learned the hard way. ' Jim Sublett has taken Marlon Brando's place in the movies. He has just set a new record for walking off the K1 It is said he practiced this while in high school so he now has it perfected. To be a patrolman is the ambition of Chuck Shears ,It has something to do with learning how to keep his dri license. Emens Christian was the first man to reach the moon. whether to have a Honeymoon or a Honeyearthw Cecil Reese has taken Emily Post's place He reformed. Bill Sisson took over Tommy Dorsey's band! he'll have a family band some day. Ma Mjust completed her first trip around the world modeling space clothing. Eli: Gearhart has taken up ice skating. She and her family put on a yearly show called the Gearhart Follies Mi Eo-olnis teaching shorthand to the Chinese. shorthand always was her favorite subject. My Elli Vernon has just received her MRS. degree. She teils us there are a lot of eligible men at COllege. Mn Hoofard is working for the Bell and Bell Co. from Alaska to Paris; To make it more convenient she married one of the Bell brothers. El Lathrum lives in California. She had so many men on the strin started a rest home for old soldiers who had faded away. Eek Potter is now working part time as a secreta big house as she lived u Clara and he still aren't married as they can't decide and he is now trying to teach his kids to play the clarinet.
