Press 61116 It seems that Editor Suzann Dale and Sponsor F. A. Moody were getting some good advice on a certain edition of the Lion's Roar from the 1955-56 Press Club, when they werefinterrupted and told to smile at the birdie. ' ' Four members of the club were elected to represent their classes: Diane Phillips, Gwynel Walker, Beverly Killingsworth and Darlyne Alford. Wanda Armstrong was in charge of these re- porters,with the title of Class News Editor. Assemblies and general school business were covered byMaryLou Johnigan. The three feature articles: Headlioner Fads and Fashions and Shadow were written by Cecilia Cooke, Janice Spencer and Genelle Childress, the latter being so busy shadowing someone that she was not present for the picture. Roving feature writers were Becky Davidson and Jim Burton. Special editions were published at Thanksgiving and Christmas, and Susie Schneemann and Martha Bailey were Assistant editors in charge of these.
