Those going into the business and trades directly from high school have been able to leam the rudimentary skills basic to those walks of life. As freshmen. we started off the year with the election of officers. Nora Inadomi was the first girl class president to be elected to this office. The highlight of the year was the Star Light Lane dance held in the old girls' gym. Our freshman assembly ended our ac- tivities for the first year. As sophomores. we were very active. We were first to organize a sophomore council, which was composed of class officers. and a representative from each social studies class. Our biggest event was the Winter Wonder- land dance. held in December. Our junior year was one to be remembered. We were finally upper classmenll Our play, ior rings and we were really proud of them. Then came the prom, func Masquef' It was very successful and one we'll never forget- for it was our first prom. At last we were seniors. We started off the year by choosing our colors, navy blue and white. Our activities started with the senior assembly held in November. The potluck in the cafeteria and dance in the rec hall, were drowned out by the rain. Then came Ditch Day. Remember all the fun we had ditching Mr. Braun. Mr. Houser, and Mr. Ackerman? The juniors did a wonderful job in giving us a prom that will long be remembered. Our year is almost over. the last of our activities being the senior banquet. senior dinner. bac- calaureate, and finally . . . commencement.
