Standing on the sidelines with high hopes for the game, John West and Steve Parker Shake hands. Damon Morgan and James Poyner run up the field after a big play. Catching passes and hitting people was what Steve Wright thought was most enjoyable about football. John West felt the closeness of the team was what it was all about. Beating Miami was a major accomplishment for the Owasso Rams this year. Our season started out with a 0-4 record but we started gaining confidence with the win against East Central on our homecoming night. The win seemed to restart our season and we went on to win the next four games. Keith Goff felt that if practice continued to improve and the Rams were well supported then the State Championship was in order. The Rams finished the season with a loss to Miami, which was a major disappointment. Steve Parker runs for the ball carrier of the Cardinals. Junior, Jeff Tattershall, kicks the ball like a professional. FootbalI!57
