In the nineth grade, Mrs. Martha Staley was our home-room teacher. We began on September 9, 1946. We had lost four members with the gain of only one, Toby Bryant. Mrs. Thompson was our home-room teacher in the tenth grade. We began on September 8, 1947. We had lost three pupils, and gained only one, Charles Dishman. In the eleventh grade Miss Ruth Largent was our home-room teacher. We began on September 7, 1948. We lost two pupils, and gained only one, Ellen Wright, who didn't complete the year. The year 49-50 marks the climatic year in the history of our class. We lost four students,but the remainder ofus are marching on under Coach Mik1er's guidance and expect to receive our diplomas on June--, 1950. A University student who had come under the spell of Modern education, came to the exam question, What causes a depression? He wrote, God knows! Idon't! Merry Christmas! When the exam paper came back, he found the professor's notation, God gets 100. You get zero. Happy New Year . Mrs. Anderson: Give me a sentence containing a direct object. Ferdinand! Teacher you're beautiful. Mrs. Anderson: What's the object? Ferdinand: A good report card.

CLASS PCJE M This class of '50, eleven on the roll, Should have no trouble in attaining their goal. Eugene Ellis, our president, is everyone's friend, A helping hand to all he is willing to lend. Billie Chance, a gay young girl is she, Always mindful of her duty, you all will agree. Another of our boys, Bob Ward by name, How secure he feels as he walks to fame. Mildred Lukas, lively and full of fun, Is always ready when there's work to be done. Edward Duda, in his work an excellent hand, Is also a carefree and friendly young man. Audrey Cox, captain of the basketball team, Does equally well in her studies, it seems. Charles Dishman, always ready to work, His lessons and duties he never will shirk. Another of our girls, Charlotte Smith is her name, To progress in life is her greatest aim. Erwin Abell, the industrious and athletic kind, Is always alert in body and mind. Then there's Dick Parker, whose record you can scan, And we're sure you will find a most promising young man Last and also least Qin sizej is Frankie Gore, And you can bet that he'll always make the score.
