Several improvements have been made in our school this year. The improvement for which Oviedo High School is the proudest is in our library. It was receiled with celotex and repainted a pale green. Four beautiful oak tables with six matching chairs each, re- placed the old jack knife carved home made ones. The books were all renovated and re- accessioned according to the Dewey decimal system. A daily newspaper was added to our usual quota of current magazines. A teacher-librarian is in charge every period of the day except the first, so that all materials are very accessible. Each high school student has one study period daily in the library, which he may use for reading or study as he may choose. We also have new lights in our gymnasium as well as a beautiful electric scoreboard. In the hall we have a new showcase to display our athletic trophies. We also have two new bulletin boards.
