Probably no other nation has produced in such a short history such a wealth and variety of song. I hope that this class, which has completed a fine record of achievement in our school, will go out with songs on its lips and in its heart-songs of love, of courage, of faith, of humor- to build a stronger and more gallant nation. BENJAMIN A. KARP t Sponsor K fl rise The class of June 1955 is different, different with a distinction. I am grateful for that difference. You have done more than any other class at Overbrook. You have left, your mark-an improved lawn, a gift for a trophy case, a library at the Children's Heart Hospital-all of these are the permanent monuments of the class of June 1955. The spirit of june '55 will guide future classes for years to come. You proved able to govern yourselves, run your class affairs, and, in general, to exercise intelli- gence and willingness to make things work out for the good of the class and the school. This is my farewell to each and every one of you. Our three years cannot end here, but must be the basis for future meetings, good times, and wonderful deeds.
