FUHEWIJHIJ We, the members of the Class of Ianuary l945, may truly call ourselves the War Class, for we entered Overbrook High School at the very beginning of the present conflict. Many of our classmates have already left our midst to join the ranks of those fighting for our priceless heritages of Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness, and before long many more will go. It is our earnest hope that they shall not have fought in vain. We pray that from the ashes of this con- flict a new and better civilization will arise, a civilization of peace, with freedom and op- portunity for all.
