CLASS PROPHECY 1970 Thumbing through the pages of a magazine my eyes found the familiar names of: Graciela Alcocer directing the Jalopy Races at London. Celia Genel being the honor guest of Ezzio Pinza at the opening of the Met- ropolitan Opera House, of course sponsored by her Padrino. Cecilia Barajas decorating the walls of the Instituto Tecnilogico of Monterrey. Cecilia Merino at a meeting of the United Nations doing a swell job as linguist for the Italians. Ines Lam refusing a contract which MGM offered her. Frances Veloz, her appearance in Reno, Nevada, singing one of the latest hits- O Beautiful Seniors. Olga Aguirre after reaching her goal, is resting under the beautiful shade of two little trees. Betty Sarmiento celebrating the fifth grand opening of her Beauty Parlor Qafter going broke for four times., Aday Vargas, captain of the Titatic, after having married the Seven Seas. Rosela Vazquez being the newly appointed principal of the Instituto Tecno- logico from Monterrey. Graciela Cardenas, after making her final vows, enjoys a peaceful life among the Poor Clares at Santa Barbara. Ana Rosa Gonzales on her way to Rome to enter a contest on whigs display. Good Luck! Olivia Bosquett married to a wealthy, handsome rancher with 8 brats. Esperanza Virgen playing drums in Alaska. Qpinguino ? ?j Virginia Noriega traveling around the world giving jewelry demonstrations. Gloria Torres officially driving her children to school in a '51 light-blue Chevrolet. Adriana Ramos having her goal accomplished: home, husband, and 6 children. Diana Galindo dreaming in Bellas Artes accompanied by . . . somebody. Socorro Fontes being the head of the motorcycle department of Mexicali. Soledad Gaspar being still faithful to her dentist's appointments. Maria Luisa Chacon making Choir copies as a director of the Orfeon Infantil. To my greatest surprise in closing the magazine I discovered that the exact date on the front page was june the 9, 1965.

First: We give and bequeath to Rev. Fr. jean Vincent, our deepest reverence and gratitude for his great kindness to us. Second: We give and bequeath to Rev. Mother Lucila Maria, our love, and gratitude for her patience and for the help she gave us always. Third: We give and bequeath to Sister Maria Aurora, our everlasting thank- fulness and gratitude for her countless acts of kindness and the great guidance she gave us through all our school years. Fourth: We give and bequeath to Sister Maria Magdalena, our deepest and immense love and gratitude for the great patience and love she always had--for us. Fifth: The remainder of our estate will be divided among our lawful heirs, the juniors, and some others herewith mentioned: I, Aday Vargas, leave my bell to any girl as able as I was to ring it.
