S. cafeteria is being called upon this year to serve an even greater number of students and faculty since the inauguration of the new shortened lunch period. In order to handle this increased load in the cafeteria, the lunch periods have been staggered so that the students now come in three different shifts. Students also enjoy the use of the cafeteria between classes when cokes and candy may be purchased. Mrs. Bottorff directs the work of the cafeteria and is assisted by four capable women. There arc also a few students who help during their lunch hour. A frozen-food locker is now being rented where large portions of meat are stored for use in the cafeteria. New dishes have also been purchased this year. This also helps to facilitate the serving of the additional students. Page 16
