It ' s the system designed and manufac- tured with irrigation professionals in mind โ€” from landscape architects to operators. It combines the latest technology w ith proven dependability to give you confidence and lasting value. In fact, you just can ' t beat Weather-matic for commercial or institutional applications. Ifs ideal for parks, gardens, golf courses, athletic fields โ€” wherever healthy vegetation depends upon reliable irrigation with a minimum of care. Designed as an integrated system, the valves, sprinklers, spray heads and controllers all work together to deliver a metered volume of water โ€” precisely, uniformly, where and when it ' s needed. With the patented Weather-matic Rain-Statยฎ as part of the system, it even knows when to skip a scheduled watering that nature has already accomplished! Weather-matic system components can meet your budgetary guidelines and technical require- ments as well. Weather-matic controllers offer you accurate solid-state or electro-mechan- ical programming in a wide choice of stylized hous- ings; pedestal or wall mount, economical to commercial heavy duty. To simplify program- ming, Weather-matic microcomputer control- lers incorporate a fiinctional selector switch, rather than a typical keyboard pad. Weather-matic contamination resistant valves are available in solid cast-bronze and glass-filled nylon bodies, 3 4-inch to 3-inch sizes. They ' re self-cleaning, reducing the chance that sand or debris could impair operations. A Weather-matic system can include any com- bination of spray heads to meet specific watering requirements. Shrubs, flower beds, planter boxes, median strips, irregularly shaped areas . . . all can be handled easily with a specially tailored system. For large areas, impact-drive pop-up heads and gear-drive rotary heads are available. Reliability is built in to each part of a Weather-matic system. Every valve is pressure- tested before it leaves the factory. Every sprinkler head is designed for years of trouble-free opera- tion. In short, the system is made to be installed and forgotten, because once ifs in, it works . . . and works . . . and works. Weather-matic maintains a worldwide net- work of distributors and installers for your con- venience. A complete line of accessories is also available for added flexibility in system design, plus easy operation and maintenance. From the smallest pocket park to the largest golf course or play- ing field, you really can ' t beat the Weather-matic system.
