WG. the class of 1937 feel we may ulook forward with pleasure and backward without regretn. As we leave Ottawa High School, we realize that never again shall we return as students in the fall to greet each other and assume the routine of classes and activities. But with us we take many happy memories, lasting friendships, and the assurance of work well done and dreams fulfilled. We are proud of our record. As sophomores we were active in clubs and organizations. Although we assumed no direct leadership we participated and offered support in all worthwhile projects. In our Junior year many of us became officers in various organizations. Some achieved the honor of high rating in music, others became athletic stars--track, a junior party in the The two most outstand- junior play, nGuess annual Junior-Senior of '36. basketball, and football. We held winter and a picnic in the spring. ing features, of course, were our Againn, a riotous comedy, and the Banquet given in honor of the class This year as seniors we have held the most respon- sible positions in the clubs. The presidency of the WCW Club, GZR., Hi-Y, Dramatics Club, Home Economics Club, Latin Club, and others have been ours. Several were prom- inent in the operetta NJoan of the Nancy Leen, while the HRecordW staff has been composed entirely of members of our class. This spring the senior play cast was selected, and the highly entertaining nMrs. Temple's Telegramn was the finished product. On May 7 the Junior class honored us with a delightful banquet, and later while the rest were struggling with finals, we jaunted to Richmond Lake for the usual Senior Picnic. Last but not least, we edited and published the 1937 WRecorderH which we hope brings all of us--junior high students, sophmores, Juniors, and seniors closer together in memories as the years roll by. So with some pleasure and much sadness we realize that time has slipped on and we are leaving O.H.S.g but the words of our alma mater ring in our ears and we Join together in nEver we'll glory in her proud success!
