To the Graduating Class of 1957 You are to be congratulated upon your successful completion of your high school course. During the past four years you have been confronted with and have over- come many obstacles whichl am certain have better prepared you for the duties and responsibilities of a good citizen. As the years pass, Ihope you will re- call pleasant and cherished high school memories among friends and fellow stu- dents by opening the covers of this book. Our Board of Education, with the principal, is responsi- ble for the policies of our school. They follow the standards set up by the State Education Department in the administra- tion ofthe school, the selection of per- sonnel, managing of school finances, and carrying out of various other duties. Acting as a Board member, as one can readily see, is a chore which requires the giving of heart and head without thought to oneself.
