This is the scene presented at the 1963 Junior Prom held on November 2. The soft tones of the band drifted from in front of a majestic mountain. Blue letters surrounded by angle hair adorned the curtain. A castle was the center of attention as a wall of small snowflakes divided the dance floor from the refreshments area. A range of small mountains was accented by a life like waterfall with a pool of water at the bottom. During Intermission Sandy Tracy was crowned Queen, accompained by her escort Stan Silvernail, and her princesses Pat McComas and Janet Woods, and their escorts. and the 47 JU IOR PROM Princess PAT MCCGMAS Princess JANET WOODS X IQ fx All this will not be finished in the first one hundred days. Nor will it be finished in the first one thousand days, nor in the life of this administration, nor even perhaps in our lifetime on this planet. But let us begin . . . The energy, the faith, the devotion which we bring to this endeavor will light our country and all who serve it-and the glow from that fire can truly light the world. . . .
