PEE WEE FOOTBALL ORRVILLE JUNIOR BLUE TORRBNTS WIN DISTRICT CHAMPIONSHIP Twenty-four boys reported the first week in September for football practice under the direction of Coach J. H. Stavgers. They were as follows: Franklin Gantt, Frank Shadix, Walter Givhan, Bill Kirby, Billy Singleton, Bo Crawford, Royland Shoults, Bobby Childres, Russell Massey, Edmund Lacy, Billy Moore, Bobby Molette, George Reynolds, James Jewell, Lee Holladay, Raymond Parrott, Ed Warren, Floyd Plummer, Calvin Dykes, Tony Andrews, Gordon Geeslin, Noah Cole, George Agee, Dudley Reynolds. These boys did splendid work with Franklin Gantt as captain and Bobby Childres as co-captain. With five victories and one tie, these Junior Blue Torrents romped throuph the entire sea- son to capture the district title.
