Zane! MR. KWATE We started our year by marching in the Glenn County Fair Parade. Next we presented our half-time capers at the Orland-Willows game. The theme was Say It With Music. In November, we journeyed to the Uni- versity of California at Berkley, where we enjoyed Band Day. In March, we participated in the Glenn County Music Festival held in Hamilton City. Next we went to Durham for the first part of our exchange program. Two weeks later Durham presented a program for us and com- pleted the exchange. Donna O'Hair, Bette Kees, and David Kwate were selected to go to the California Band Directors Association Music Clinic at Tracy. In May we represented Orland at the an- nual Pioneer Day Parade in Chico. We presented our annual concert in May. Thus we ended the year.

W' 'IU I . , z y Y r ' ' Y t . l x - gg, mg T. 0 , ., :Vs The Girls' Glee Club got off to a slow start this year. We presented our annual Christmas Can- tata to the P. T. A. Later we helped the Dance Revue by providing music from above, singing from the balcony during the intermission. During the year we had three ice cream mixers and outdoor singing. Our final performance was singing at the Baccalaureate for the graduating Seniors. The Boys' Glee Club is a new addition to Orland High School this year. We sang Little David for the Dance Revue, which was an inspiration to the au- dience. ' We presented many programs for Masons, Rotary, P. T. A. , W. l.C. , and the W. S.C.S. , as well as many church organizations. We are looking forward to enjoying the second year of our Boys' Glee.
