CLARI CELU BA The chapter Parliamentary Procedure team won lst at the sectional contest, and later went on to the regional contest, where they also won lst. This is the first time in the history of the Orland Chapter that it has ever won this award. The team then went to Cal Poly, where they participated in the State Convention. Bob Gavigan was elected State Sentinel. We journeyed to Davis and took 2nd in Accounting, 4th in Milk Products, and 5th in Agronomy judging. Gary Hollis took lst in Farm Accounting, and Bob Gavigan placed lst high individual in milk products in competition against representatives of fifty schools. In March the F.F.A. and F.H. A. held their annual dance and decided that Clarice Luba and Dorothy Fritz would be this year's Chapter Sweethearts.

36444 0 The Block O has had a very busy year, as we teamed with the G. A. A. and spon- sored the pre-game dance heralding the Orland-Willows Big-Little Game. We all attended the annual banquet for J. V. and Varsity football players, sponsored by the Kiwanis Club in December. In March, we staged the 7th Annual Box- ing Show, which pleased the crowd with many hard-fought rounds. The Annual Sportsmanship Awards were given this year on the basis of attitude, scho lastic standing and ability to a player of each of the four major sports as follows: Jerry Miller, Footballg John Second, Basket- ballg Gary Freeman, Baseballg Grant Simic, Track. A Block O - G.A.A. Picnic terminated a very successful year under the advisorship of Coach Marshall Latimer.
