14 . The Orland Chapter planned and worked hard on their duties as hostesses for the March 8, Section Ill Meeting. Donna Stockton was elected Section Ill Treasurer, making us feel proud. The annual F.F.A. and F. H. A. dance was enjoyed by all who attended. ln May we got together with the G. A. A. and helped sponsor a Mother and Daughter Tea, along with a Fashion Show. LER We started our year by taking first place NHS5 BUT with our annual booth at the Glenn County Fair. Next, we had a pot-luck dinner, followed by initiation of new members. In October Miss Butler, Patti Hibdon, Sharon Troxel and Bernice Carroll attended the State Convention at Asilomar at Carmel. Just before Christmas we had a get-to- gether to make decorations for the Home- making Building and trim a large tree in the living room.

A. lamb, Champion F.F. A. steer, Champion dairy showmanshipg 2, 3,4, 5, 6, and 8th in sheep showmanship. Our fair booth took 2nd place. Next we went to the Chico Field Day where we took lst in Farm Mechanics, Ag- ronomy, Tractor Driving, and 2nd in Record- keeping and Dairy. John Ogburn was the proud owner of the Champion Lamb at the Colusa Fair. The Freshman Parliamentary Procedure team placed 3rd at the sectional contest in Red Bluff.
