O I I I After initiation of new members in the fall, our annual treasure hunt planned by Mr. Russell, was a fun event for all attending. Our educational trip, the second of its kind, took us to the Monterey area for four days. We visited such places as the Carmel Mission, a theatre production, Fort Ord, Point Lobos State Park, Carmel shops, and Fishermans Wharf. Money was raised for the trip by a food sale, and the C. S. F. supply booth was operated throughout the year as usual by the members. The Sealbearers Banquet was held in the spring honoring: Joan Wallace, Judy Beck, Roxanne Ferry, Arthalyn Noble, David Pehrson, Pat Blacet, Linda Hughes, Jane Jacobs, Laurene Howard, Sharon Schatz, Claudia King, Pat Elkin, and Eletta Walker. ei Under the direction of Mrs. Freda K. Walker, the Teachers of Tomorrow mem- bers had a very active year. In November, two of our members, Roxanne Ferry and E1- etta Walker, attended the California Educa- tion Club Conference at Sacramento. In December we had a joint meeting with Willows. After the meeting Mr. Don Foster showed us a film on teaching and gave a short talk. In February we had a pot-luck dinner in the homemaking building and Miss Helen MacPherson spoke to us about college life. On April 10, we sent five members to the California Education Club Conference at Chico as follows: Diane Johnson, .Frances Booth, Roxanne Ferry, Claudia King and Nicki Barceloux. Our annual trip to a college was made to Sacramento State College on March 7, and we went to Wildwood Inn for a banquet and speaker on May 29, thus ending our busy year. STANDING: J.
