R YAXUX' SECQND As we, the graduation class of 1958, marched down the aisle on June 3, thoughts of glad times passed echoed in our memory. We had started the year by entering a float in the Glenn County Fair entitled The Early Bird Gets The Worm. It won second prize, In November our class presented a short pre-game skit, Orland Drops Willows, killing off the Honkers by proxy! December 11 - 12 we presented the Senior Play Our Hearts Were Young and Gay, which was followed by a cast party at Wildwood Inn. One of our most enjoyed events of the year was Senior Sneak Day, March 5. We took two buses to Mineral and the Sulphur Works where we enjoyed the day sledding and skiing. Our candidates Mary Ogburn and Harvey Moranda reigned at the Yearbook Dance as Honeycomb royalty, As the climax of Twirp Week, we had our Senior Slave Day, during which the girls were auctioned off to the underclassmen, followed that evening by the Annual Twirp Dance, Another enjoyable event was our Senior Ball which was held May 2 with the theme Rhapsody ln Blue, The big formal dance of the year was enjoyed by all who attended, Our Baccalaureate on June 1, was our last big event of the year before our Gradua- tion Iune 3.
