ROYALTY King and Queen The high light of the evening of November 3rd, was the crowning of the royalty for the 1950-51 carnival. Keith Kappenman and Lois Miller, Senior Class candidates, were crowned by the 1949-50 royalty; Jack Miller and Fern Williams. Their attendants were: Merlin Van Rosendale and Betty Mae Peterson, Junior candidates; Darrell Schultz and Arlene Johnson, Sophomore candidates; and Dan O’Connell and Marlene Minnaert, Freshman candidates. Prince and Princets Darrell Cade and Francis Johnson were crown- ed Prince and Princess. They were the seventh and eighth grade candidates. Their attendants were: Richard Peterson and Mary Ann Morris, fifth and sixth grades; Eddy Minnaert and Jerrilyn Johnson, third and fourth grades; and Donald Holter and Mary Moran, first and second grades. Crown bearers were Dennis Briggle and Jimmy Coburn. Flower girls were Colleen O’Hara and Joan Krager. 42
