A. chapter has been very active this year. In the first week of October, six of the girls and their adviser, Mrs. Behrent, went to Mitchell to the State F. H. A. Convention. Delores Minnaert, was elected Second Vice-President of the State F. H. A. Delores Minnaert represented our chapter, at the national F. H. A. convention at Columbus, Ohio, last summer. We held our hobo day, October 18th. The girls did odd jobs and received pay- ment for their work. The barn dance was held in November, and everyone had an enjoyable time. The sale of magazines was very successful this year. The mother-daughter banquet was held in March. Mr. Owen Williams and Mrs. Carl Bjorklund, were elected chapter father and mother. Ronald Cade The Father-Son “pheasant feed’’ was held November 15th. The boys and Mr. Gardner, furnished the pheasants. The F.H. A. girls prepared and served the pheasant along with all the trimmings. The guest speaker was, Everin O’Brifen, who is Karl Mundt’s secretary. This year George Stanford was the delegate to go to Kansas City, for the National Convention of the Future Farmers of America. 30
