Darrell Schultz “THE AUTOGRAPH CHASERS” Grandmother.................Mary Hanrahan Lissa Page.........Ella Adams Roberta.................Jeanette Johnson Cathie........Lynnette Minnaert Nancy.........Donna Gayle Mohr On September 5th, 1R49, eleven pupils entered the Freshman class of Or land High School—eight girls and three boys. Lynnette Minnaert, Donna Hankins, Donna Mohr, Ruth Robson, Ella Adams and Lynn Siert entered from the Or land Grade School. Jeanette Johnson and Darrell Schultz, came from the Carlson School, Arlene Johnson, from the Reynolds School and Ronnie Cade from the Lowell Grade School in Sioux Falls. Mary Hanrahan came from County Clare, Ireland. The first interesting event of the year was initiation week, which ended with a party given by the Seniors on Friday, September 16th. Th$ following Friday night, we entertained the whole school at a hay ride party. On January 12th, we presented two, one act plays--”Life With Bobbv Sox,” and “The Autograph Chasers”--at the P. T. A. meeting. During the first semester, Ella Adams and Donna Mohr were on the honor roll each six weeks; Lynnette Minnaert and Ruth Robson were on the honor roll two six- weeks each. Ronald Cade and Jeanette Johnson were King and Queen candidates at the carnival. 18
