12 Boothes in the Quad! Students and the Corvallis Police Department could both agree, CONNECT Week could be seen as one of the most hectic and crazy weeks when it comes to the Corvallis nightlife. But, there are many opportunities during the rest of the week for new students to get to make new friends, experience a faux-graduation and plenty of other events throughout the week to experience, whether you're a returning or new student. An event that has been growing larger every year, which is hosted by MUPC, is titled Battle of the DJs, where many aspiring disc-jockeys look to impress the crowd with their heavy hitting mash-ups and mixes for a sweet cash prize and bragging rights. The new student walk simulates the experience for every new Oregon State student the same walk they will take when they graduate. CONNECT Week is one of the best times for new students to experience college life, before they start their classes and get to make lifelong friends and share unforgettable experiences .
