11 Move in Day is an event most students at Oregon State can remember. It's the transition from living at home and in high school to your first experiences living by yourself as a college student. Living the dorm life is something that we can all relate to. Whether that be living in the admired Weatherford to the dorms on the outskirts of campus like Bloss, we have all come to know the dorms that we have lived in and the experiences they have brought us. Although many people could say they are relieved from living in the dorms, it's an experience that many of us would never want to give up. The people you meet in the dorms have wound up to be some of your best friends that you could be living together with now. The hectic nature of move in day is one of the most exciting and nerve racking experiences (maybe besides the first round of finals) for a freshmen. But, once the frenzied move in day is over and everyone is settled and every new Beaver Nation member has moved into their dorm, that is when their college experience and new chapter of their life truly begins.
