AND THE STREAK CONTINUES. ..Homecoming is always fun event, each student constantly trying to one-up the other with an uber competitive school spirit. But there was something extra in the air this year, as the OSU football team was on a five gome win streak. And as fens consumed one too many cdult beverages, the football team managed to do it again, winning 21-7 over Utah, end making them the best football team Oregon State University has seen in over 100 years. HOMECOMING BONFIRE Free and open to the public, the Homecoming Bonfire is a tradition over 100 years old. With a combination of wooden crates and some lighter fluid, the enthusiastic Oregon State Beaver Nation is given a spectacular sight.

CONNECT. Jo Campus! Friday consisted of different open houses on campus, including the Mind Spa in Snell Hall, the College of Engineering auditions for the OSU Choir, and a Worlds Arts and Crafts fair at the Women's Center. The day concluded with a Battle of the DJ s in the MU Quad. Local DJ's came and showed off their skills to compete for the title of OSU's Best DJ. Students voted via text messaging to determine the winner. ■ mupc CONNECT. Jo OSU Traditions! New students were able to experience their first football game as collegiate students... on the turf in Reser Stadium! Students dawned their best orange and black, and sat on the turf in Reser Stadium to watch the game as it was broadcast on the jumbotron. The Beavers won the game against UCLA, with a final score of 27-20. SatUrotav
