OREGON f AGRICULTURAL rl COLLEGE XJr =□ Foreword $ WE. the staff of the Junior Annual for the year 1916, in submitting this, our first combined literary effort, the result of nearly a year’s labor, for the approbation of those in whose hands it may fall, divulge a passage -not. as it may seem, a prayer -that has guided us these many months through trials and tribulations to the happy day when we have set aside our strenuous duties with the keen pleasure of knowing that we have done our best: “Deliver us from fear and favor, from mean hopes and cheap pleasures, have mercy on each in his deficiency, let him not be cast down, support the stumbling on the way and give at last rest to the weary.” 3
