VARSITY SUIIRES Some fair material greeted Coach Chuck Elliott, but for some reason the team cou1dn't quite jell. One of the few bright spots of the season was a 26-13 upset of highly regarded Beaver- ton team. A fourth spot in the league was the teamis resting place, but the Pioneers lost to West Linn for the first time in five years. Coach Chuck Elliott finished his sixth year at O.C. He has coached teams to a quarter- final berth and many seconds in the league. One of the losses was by one point, and the other two were close. The scoring was evenly divided among numerous backs who show promise of being some help to Chuck Elliott's crew next year.
